The Rocky Mountains are a beautiful backdrop for any event, but when it comes to embracing their beauty with an outdoor venue that still has the security of shelter and the comfort of cosy cabins, there's no place better than Preston Ranch Cabins. Surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland and National Forest, there are few places more private, and with several acres of level camping area and two fully fitted bathrooms for campers or day guests, there's room for everyone!

We welcome all kinds of events and are truly touched when people choose our cabins to celebrate with those they love. Groups over 20 will be charged an additional event fee of $2/person for day visitors, or $5/person base charge for overnight guests, see the rates page for details. We also ask for a refundable security deposit of at least $500 for groups over 20, though it may be more depending on which extras and add-ons guests decide to add to their stay.

Looking for the ideal place to have your picture perfect outdoor wedding without the risk of weather interfering? Our pavilion not only offers a convenient spot for catering to a great many guests, but it's also an excellent dining area/dance floor where you can enjoy the outdoors with the comfort of paved floors and shade. At just $2 per person for day guests, it's a difficult price to beat for a wedding venue as well. For added protection and the perfect rustic camping look, be sure to book the canvas awnings.

Preston ranch is basically too incredible for words. The space is perfect for large groups who want a stunningly beautiful, expansive, wide open space for a gathering or get away. It is a truly natural, wild and undeveloped landscape, and the freezing cold stream is perfect in the summer. You can easily cook for and eat with a group of 20+ under the picnic shelter, which is amazing for giant group feasts.
